Showing Up Matters
Because some weeks, just showing up is the win
This week got away from me.
Between a packed work schedule, personal stuff, and getting ready to head to Norway later today, writing this newsletter almost didn’t happen.
I thought about skipping it.
It’s not a big deal, right? It’s just one week.
But then I remembered something I heard Jerry Seinfeld say—he used to put an X on the calendar every day he wrote. After a while, the goal was simple: don’t break the chain.
That stuck with me.
Not because every day has to be amazing, but because there’s value in showing up—even when it’s messy, last-minute, or far from your best.
So here I am, keeping the streak alive.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or off-track this week, you’re not alone. But maybe just doing one small thing you promised yourself—no matter how imperfect—can be enough.
I’ll try to make up for it next week with some photos of Norwegian fjords! ⛰️
See you next week,
Kamal
